About

Agincare is one of England’s largest and longest-standing family-owned care providers, delivering trusted, person-centred care for 40 years.

Today, we support more than 6,000 people nationwide through 170 CQC registered services, backed by a workforce of over 5,500 dedicated care professionals.

Our breadth of provision spans care and nursing homes, live in care, home care, extra care housing, children’s services, and supported living. This range gives us the flexibility, clinical oversight and continuity needed to support people living with highly complex, long term or fluctuating needs.

For case managers, social workers, legal professionals, insurers and commissioners, we understand the pressure of securing clinically robust, cost-effective and sustainable care packages for clients following complex or life-changing injury.

Agincare meets a gap in the market. Few providers combine specialist complex care capability with the governance, resilience and nationwide reach of a large organisation. We do both.

Our local teams deliver personalised, consistent care, while our national infrastructure provides the assurance, stability and quality oversight professionals depend on, alongside clear reporting that supports case managers and legal professionals with reviews, funding decisions and defensible evidence of delivery and outcomes.

Accident to Adventure: Brendon’s Holiday Dream

For Brendon, going on holiday with his girlfriend had long been a lifelong dream, something he never believed would be possible. After sustaining a severe spinal injury in an accident at the age of 13, Brendon is quadriplegic and requires hoisting for all transfers. He also requires supra pubic catheter care and is at risk of autonomic dysreflexia. Because of the complexity and risks involved, he had never felt confident travelling abroad before.

Thanks to Agincare, and the dedication of live-in care worker Rosina, that dream became a reality with a sunny getaway to Benidorm. Rosina went above and beyond to ensure Brendon had the correct facilities and support in place throughout the holiday, giving him and his girlfriend the confidence to travel safely and enjoy the experience fully.

Following Brendon’s care plan closely throughout the trip, Rosina ensured his needs were fully understood and supported at every stage. This meant Brendon could travel confidently, knowing his safety and wellbeing were always the priority.

The holiday was filled with unforgettable moments, including dancing, cabaret shows, relaxing on the beach, and karaoke. Rosina helped facilitate each experience, making sure Brendon and his girlfriend could enjoy new surroundings, create lasting memories, and share moments of fun and connection without worry.

This trip shows how specialist live in care goes beyond meeting day to day care requirements. It supports people to achieve life goals they once thought were impossible, and to focus on what truly matters to them.
